Nancy Muller, OTR/L
Nancy Muller is a nationally registered and licensed Occupational Therapist in the state of New Mexico with over 30 years of experience in pediatric and adult private practice, conference and college teaching, neurological and orthopedic rehabilitation in inpatient and outpatient settings, early intervention, and the provision of service for preschool through transitional services in the public and private school setting. Nancy received her Bachelor of Science in the field of Occupational Therapy in 1987 from Colorado State University and pursued coursework for a Masters in Adult Education at Oklahoma State University. In 1992, Nancy received specialty certification in Neurological Developmental Training.
As an adjunct professor at Tulsa Junior College, Nancy had the privilege of teaching theory and practice of therapeutic adaptations, ergonomics, basic environmental modification/practical alterations to equipment, adapted mobility, upper extremity orthotics, and very basic electronics. From 1995-1998, Nancy had the privilege of being a motor evaluator for the Assistive Technology Team that served the State of Texas. As a member of the board at Brown Mackie Junior College, she was able to lend her experience to support future practitioners in the field. Nancy has also worked for Albuquerque Public Schools since 2002, with emphasis on the preschool population and elementary level students with intensive support needs and students with Autism. In 2017, Nancy started working with the Assistive Technology Department for APS as an assistive technology provider for students of all ages. Aside from work experience, Nancy loves to explore the outdoors, spend quality time with her family and friends, and to volunteer in youth programs in the city of Albuquerque.
